Under it is a black coated grill for holding the lava rock above the galvanized burner.The grill top is screwed to a steel post that is fitted into a cast iron base that gives it good stability. The top part of the grill is coated sheet metal.The propane burner is about 8" long to give a wide cooking area. This grill also comes with lava rock which spreads the heat more evenly and makes food taste better.We can ship this grill without the rock to save on shipping if you want. That would really help some international buyers.It assembles with a screw driver and comes apart for easy traveling, making it great for camping, tailgating, or just visits to the park.If space is a problem this little grill is great.
